This song was a challenge to myself. I was feeling down on not having written anything in a while so I set a goal for myself. Beginning to end, no matter how fucking bad it was, I was gonna write and finish a song in a short period of time. This was the result and I couldn't have been happier with the product. In addition to that I tend to want to be wordier with my lyricism, but I listen to enough music to know that's not always the best way to go, so I stripped that back as well and stretched everything out. The result was one of my most concise compositions to date.
lyrics
Wake up
Be reasonable
Toe touch
Stretch your legs
You wouldn’t wanna get hurt
Let go
Start packing up
Onto the road
Once we get there then we’ll decide where to go
Oh
Get low
Go slow
I’ll be your cradle step inside my arms
